Clip · compatibility and availability
Lumax Clip requires macOS 14 or later. The app includes 35 interface languages; the website currently provides English and Simplified Chinese.
Lumax Clip is available on the Mac App Store; the App Store listing shows whether it is offered in your storefront.
Clip · local data and privacy
Clipboard history and activity data stay on your Mac. There is no UUThings account, cloud sync, OCR, AI, third-party advertising, or usage-analytics SDK. Purchases and restores use Apple StoreKit, so purchase-related flows communicate with Apple even though clipboard content is not uploaded to the developer.
Privacy exclusions and sensitive-content filtering reduce unwanted capture but cannot recognise every password or sensitive item. The developer cannot remotely recover or delete local history. A saved local file entry may only be a reference to the original file and is not a backup. Data export is not a launch feature.
Clip · what happens at the Basic limit?
Basic holds 500 total entries, including favourites. At the normal limit, a new entry replaces the oldest non-favourite entry. Favourites are protected from capacity rotation.
If all 500 entries are favourites, saving new history pauses because there is no non-favourite entry to replace. If an existing library is already over 500 entries, those entries are retained and new saving pauses until you reduce the total to within the Basic capacity. Neither situation disables the macOS system clipboard.
Clip · pro purchase and Restore Purchases
Lumax Clip Pro is a non-consumable one-time purchase with no monthly or annual subscription and no auto-renewal. It removes the fixed Basic capacity and adds retention controls, custom appearance options, and complete local Activity Analysis.
Restore Purchases asks StoreKit to check eligible transactions for the Apple Account currently used for App Store purchases. A UUThings account is not needed. If StoreKit cannot find the purchase, first confirm the App Store purchase account and transaction record, then contact Apple billing support or UUThings support with non-sensitive details.
Clip · if Pro entitlement changes
A one-time purchase has no subscription expiry. If Apple confirms a refund or revokes the transaction, Pro features may become unavailable.
Loss of entitlement does not bulk-delete existing history or favourites. Existing Pro appearance preferences are retained and can be applied again after entitlement is restored. Manual deletion and privacy cleanup continue to work normally.
Clip · future features and purchase scope
Later Pro features added to Lumax Clip are included with this purchase, but no delivery date is promised for unannounced or unfinished features. The purchase does not promise Family Sharing, a licence on another platform, or access to separate future UUThings products.
