UUCards Privacy Policy
This page applies only to UUCards; the website and other products are covered separately.

Identity and scope
XUELONG YU is the developer. UUThings (有物) is the product brand, not a separate company; Lumax is one of its product lines. “We” refers to XUELONG YU. This page includes only provisions relevant to the app named in its title.
How UUCards handles your data
UUCards stores the card details you enter, such as card numbers, expiry dates, security codes, billing addresses, bank details and membership barcodes, together with your address book in an encrypted vault on this device. The vault key stays in this device’s keychain and can only be used on this device. The vault is excluded from iCloud and device cloud backups and is never synced to other devices.
UUCards has no networking features. It does not connect to servers run by the developer or any third party, and it has no account, in-app purchases, subscriptions, advertising, analytics or third-party SDKs. The developer cannot see, collect or recover your card details.
Opening the vault requires system authentication such as Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. The app locks when your device locks and covers private screens when it leaves the foreground. Detected screen recording or mirroring hides sensitive fields, and after a screenshot they are hidden again and an alert can appear. The app cannot prevent screenshots or photos taken with another device.
Copied details stay on this device and expire after the time you choose (30, 60 or 120 seconds). The app clears only copies it still owns and never reads the clipboard. Other apps you paste into may keep the content.
When you scan a card number or barcode with the camera, recognition happens on this device and no photos are saved or uploaded. Expiry reminders are scheduled on this device, and notifications never show card names or numbers.
Backups are created only when you export one. They are encrypted with a password you set, and you decide where to save or share them. A forgotten backup password cannot be recovered. Deleting the app also deletes the vault on this device; without a backup, losing or damaging the device can mean losing your data permanently.
UUCards · Email
If you email the developer, the developer receives your email address, message, attachments and standard email metadata. They are used only to reply, troubleshoot and meet applicable obligations, and kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.
Please never send card numbers, security codes, vault files, backup files or backup passwords, or screenshots that show card details.
Your choices, rights, and security

The developer uses reasonable safeguards for information received, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Service providers may process information in the locations where they operate, subject to their policies and applicable law.
