- Attach a screenshot or screen recording only if it helps explain the issue.
- Remove names, file paths, account details, passwords, and unrelated clipboard, calendar, or reminder content before sending anything.
Tempo · compatibility and availability
Lumax Tempo requires macOS 14 or later and supports English and Simplified Chinese. It is available on the Mac App Store; the App Store listing shows whether it is offered in your storefront.
For feedback in the app, open Settings and choose feedback. Write your message, optionally include app and macOS versions, then continue in your mail app to review and send it to support@uuthings.com. Opening Mail does not submit the message. You can also copy it; unfinished in-app drafts are not retained after restarting Tempo.
Tempo · calendars, tasks, and permissions
Calendar events and tasks come from the macOS calendars and reminder lists you allow Tempo to access. Grant the corresponding permissions and enable the sources you want to see. If an item can be viewed but not changed, check whether its source is read-only. All calendar-event creation and editing is free; Pro does not bypass system permissions.
Lunar dates and solar terms are calculated locally. The included official days-off and adjusted-workday schedule currently covers mainland China for 2026; worldwide holiday schedules are not included.
If something is missing or not syncing, first check the item in Apple Calendar or Reminders and the source account’s sync status. Tempo does not provide a separate cloud-sync service. Changes to a system item can appear on your other devices through the account provider. Reminder notifications are delivered by the system, not a UUThings server.
Tempo · what stays free?
The calendar, Chinese lunar dates, solar terms, holidays, date intervals, and all calendar-event operations stay free. Existing tasks remain visible and can be completed, marked incomplete again, deleted, or edited. Category creation, naming, ordering, and visibility are free too; changing category or task colours requires Pro, while existing colours remain visible.
Free Tempo lets you add one world-clock city, save one custom countdown, and display one desktop-note window at a time. Saved notes are not limited; opening another note replaces the visible window, not its content. Automatic holiday countdowns do not use the custom-countdown allowance.
Light, dark, and system appearance remain free. The applied accent is Coral, the background is solid, and the menu bar shows date plus time, to the minute, in your system’s time format and local time zone. Other accent colours and glass can be previewed without applying them.
Tempo · how do the five daily tasks work?
Free Tempo allows five successfully created reminders through Tempo per Mac, per local calendar day. The allowance follows the Mac’s local date, not the day you are browsing, the task’s due date, or the reference city. It resets on the next local day.
Cancelled or failed creation, changes to existing tasks, tasks synced from elsewhere, and system-generated repeat instances do not count. Completing or deleting a task does not return a creation already used that day. Reaching the limit does not hide existing tasks. Tempo Pro removes this daily creation allowance.
Tempo · what does Pro add?
Tempo Pro is a separate, one-time, non-consumable upgrade, with no subscription or automatic renewal. It adds unlimited daily task creation; new or changed task repetition rules; category and task colour editing; preset and custom accents; and transparent glass, subject to the system’s Reduce Transparency setting.
Pro also adds menu-bar layouts, seconds and manual 12/24-hour selection, a selectable reference city, more cities from the included world-clock catalogue, time previews, more custom countdowns, and multiple visible desktop notes. It does not expand the city catalogue to every city or add a cloud service.
Check the local price in Apple’s confirmation interface before you buy. In Settings → Tempo Pro, Restore Purchases checks the eligible purchase for the App Store Apple Account. A Clip Pro purchase does not unlock Tempo Pro, and neither upgrade requires a UUThings account.
Tempo · if Pro access changes
If Apple confirms a refund or revokes the purchase, free limits apply again. Existing notes, countdowns, cities, colours, and saved appearance preferences are retained. Free Tempo shows one world-clock card and one note window; extra saved cities remain manageable, and saved countdowns remain viewable and editable even if they exceed the free allowance.
The applied appearance returns to Coral and a solid background, while your saved Pro preferences are kept for a later restoration. Existing repetition rules are preserved for basic task editing and can be turned off; creating or changing a rule requires Pro. Restoring a purchase does not restore lost local files or replace a backup.
